Blog post

Hello everyone! For my first post I’d like to discuss the 2026 film Primetime. I went in with fairly high expectations and walked out… with little to say honestly.

And that’s not because it’s bad or boring. My attention was held throughout the entire film, particularly the last third. But… I don’t know. I can’t quite put my finger on why I’m speechless. The subject matter is quite dark so maybe that’s why? Maybe I’m just shocked? I’m not sure. But that’s okay. Not every movie can blow you away!

What I DO have to say about the movie is pretty positive. Pattinson once again floors it as Chris Hansen and while I don’t think it’s his best performance, he continues to impress me with his talent. The last thing I’ll say is that the movie is just stunning visually. The way that they utilize lighting and the cameras was genuinely something to behold, and it’s safe to say it carried the movie for me.

I won’t spoil anything for those who haven’t seen it, but if the concept interests you I would recommend you check it out. Be prepared to be uncomfortable!
